1 - Hello, my name is Lisa and I’m 8 years old. I like music very much: I play the violin. I always practice on Monday and Wednesday with my teacher and usually two hours every day at home. My favourite musician is Niccolò Paganini, he’s Italian. 

2- Hello, my name is Mary and I’m 7 years old. I like music too: I play the flute. I always practice on Tuesday and Wednesday with my teacher and often three hours every day at home. I haven’t any favourite musician.

3- Hello, my name is Robert and I’m 10 years old. I like music very much: I play the piano. I usually practice at home with my mother and sometimes have a concert at school. My favourite musician is Ludwig van Beethoven, he’s German.

4- Hello, my name is Sarah and I’m 13 years old. Music is my life: I play the cello. I always practice on Monday, Thursday and Saturday with my teacher and usually three hours every afternoon. My favourite musician is Claude Debussy, he’s French.

WE LIVE ON A FARM - PRESENT SIMPLE

My name is Samuel , but everybody calls me “Sam”. I live with my sister and my parents on a beautiful farm. Both my father and my mother work very hard on it every day.

My father gets up at 6.30 to feed the animals. Mum collects the eggs from the hens and put them into a basket. When she has the basket full, she goes to the village market and sells them there.

 At 7.30 my sister and I wake up. We go to the bathroom to wash ourselves, after that , I milk the cows. Then we  get dressed and then sit with dad and mum in the kitchen to have breakfast.

At 8.15 we get on the school bus. Classes start at 8.30. While we are at school mum and dad are very busy with the farm work. Mum usually feeds the hens and chickens and the other farm animals we have.

Dad drives his tractor across the field and when it is the time for the harvest mum also helps him.

We return from school at 5. We do our homework  and then we wash TV or plays computer games. We have dinner at 8.

At the end of the day everybody feels tired. My sister and I usually go to sleep at 10. Dad and mum stay up until 11.30.
